A Quote To Live By

Hello there dear trendsetters!

I wanted today's post to be more of a reflection rather than just fashion. In last weeks post, someone suggested i should talk about the term "beauty" and after giving it some thought i remembered this quote i grew up with and honestly Coco Chanel couldn't have said it any better.

In a society where people desire to be more like others there's nothing more beautiful than to be yourself rather than another version of somebody else. It's time to connect with your true self and be authentic, accept yourself just the way you are with no limitations or standards because you are enough. Don't go around comparing yourself to others trying to be more like them because out of all the 7 billion people living in this earth, there's not a single other you out there.

Even if it seems like the hardest thing to do, practice self-love and acceptance. There's nothing more freeing than to be yourself and not having to pretend to be someone you're not. Your beauty lies in the way you keep on being you so don't be another slave to the socially constructed ideas of beauty.

If there's something i want you to learn from this blog more than all the fashion is that beauty comes from the inside. There's so much beauty within yourself just waiting to be discovered so, go out there and don't be afraid to be you. 

Because the art of being you is true beauty, not a some fake standard that celebrities, Instagram models and magazines hold out as perfection.

Tip Of The Day 

if you're ever feeling down or insecure try to smile and look at yourself in the mirror.

Instead of pointing out your flaws, try to point out the things you like instead and hopefully this list will grow with time but remember to be kind to yourself along the process. Lastly, look up and say:   
" I'm unique, I'm beautiful and I'm enough".
